SURABAYA Ijen Blue Flame TOUR

 

Surabaya Ijen Blue Flame tour is our 2 days one night tour package, starting point pickup service from Surabaya or Banyuwangi ( Ketapang – ferry port ). Ijen crater is the biggest crater lake and is a group of stratovolcanoes in the Banyuwangi regency of East java province. The sulfur crater lake is lies in sulfatara of deeply etched rock. Actually the name of the mountain itself is Mount. Merapi, meaning “Mountain of Fire”. In Indonesia there are 3 Mount Merapi, one in Sumatera, one in Central Java, and one in East Java province. In this tour package, we would like to offer overnight tour package with starting point from Surabaya or Banyuwangi regency. This package is the most favourite package since the of National Geographic mentioned the electric blue flame of Ijen. The beautifull phenomena of Blue Fire we can see at midnight journey on Ijen.

 

# Day 01 : you will be picked up by our staff who incharge at Surabaya airport/train station or at Banyuwangi ( Ketapang Ferry port ). Then proceed to starting point of Ijen crater, Patulding. Having a rest for a while and preparing your journey’s equipment. Short breafing by our experience LocaL Guide, then start to walk up. The distance from Patulding to the view point of Ijen Crater is about 3 km. Because it’s still dark, don’t forget to bring the torchlight yourself. When you reached the view point to see the Ijen Blue Flame, please be carefull when you want to go down to the crater. It would be better, follow our Local Guide instruction.

# Day 02 : enjoy the beauty of Ijen Blue Flame Panorama from early in the morning untill sunrise time. After that, go back down to Patulding area. During on the way back down to Patulding, you will meet friendly local Sulfurminner, they are so strong, because could carry about 60 up to 100 Kg of Sulfur Solid stone using the bamboo basket oh their shoulder. If you don’t mind, you can try to carry it on your shoulder, wowww… It’s so heavy. When you reached Patulding area, then our staff will transfer you and dropp off at Surabaya ( airport, train station ) city or Banyuwangi ( Ketapang Ferry port ). End of service.
